How our custom design process works

Initial Consulation

We meet and determine the best combination of your ideas and recommendations to create your dream home.

Exploring your Ideas

  • Explore your vison

    • We encourage you to bring as much information as possible, including photographs of your favorite style of homes, pictures from books or magazines, etc. ​

    • We will discuss what is appealing about these pictures and the common thread among them

    • We will discuss space requirements

    • We will prioritize your needs

    • We will also analyze the proposed site to see what it can accommodate

  • Provide creative feedback

  • Provide estimate of service and timeline

  • Receive deposit for agreed upon service​

Fine-Tuning to Perfection

  • Preliminary floor plan of your project​

  • Receive your input and changes

  • Repeat the fine tuning until it's perfect!

  • Preliminary 3D rendering sketch to give you a visual of the exterior​

Construction Documents

After you approve the design, we create a full set of construction documents so your builder can bring your dream to life!

Full Set of Plans (PDF version) normally include:

  • Foundation Plan​

  • Floor Plan

  • Second Floor Plan (if applicable)

  • 4 Elevations (front, rear, left and right side)

  • Roof Plan

  • Cross-Section (if applicable)

  • Typical Wall Section

  • Electrical Plan Layout (per code)

  • Finished Lower Level Plan (if applicable)
